Petal Bag

Entirely hand-formed using a traditional wet felting technique, each petal of this bag is individually shaped by hand and coaxed into its final form through water, soap, and delicate friction movements. The material is Argentinian Merino wool in its natural, undyed state: a warm ivory that carries the inherent softness of the fibre.

The finishing is entrusted to a local London artisan who completes every piece entirely by hand: stitching the leather handle and lining each bag in an embellished natural silk. No two bags are identical.

Made to Order

Each bag is wet-felted and sculpted individually in our studio, a process that requires sustained manual pressure to shape and consolidate every petal. Once the felt is complete, the piece is passed to our London-based artisan for hand-finishing and lining. Please allow 4 weeks from the date of your order.

Care Instructions

This is a delicate handcrafted piece that requires gentle handling. Store in the dust pouch and box provided when not in use. Spot clean only with a barely damp cloth - do not submerge or machine wash.

Keep away from prolonged moisture and direct heat. As with all natural wool, some pilling may occur over time; this is a characteristic of the fibre. Use a fabric shaver occasionally to maintain the piece.
