Digitally printed organza top, engineered from 12 individually cut and padded panels that are shaped and tailored to follow the curves of the body. Each panel is constructed with raw wool interlaid between the organza, dyed using natural pigments, then secured with free-motion quilting stitched in a floral pattern across the surface. The result is a structured yet tactile bodice with organic depth and colour variation. Fully lined.

Each piece is cut and sewn individually in our London atelier. The wool is sourced raw and unwashed directly from an eco farm in Somerset, straight from the sheep, and must undergo three to five washes before it is ready to work with. It is then hand-dyed in three different colours using plants that vary depending on the season and what we are able to forage, giving each piece a naturally unique palette. Once dyed, the fabrics are sent to undergo a digital printing process before construction begins.

This top is made from from 12 individually cut panels. The fabric is then padded with the different coloured wools, each piece placed carefully by hand and pinned before being sewn onto the bodice. This process alone can take a couple of days, with great care taken to ensure as few creases as possible. From start to finish, each garment can take up to 5 days to complete.

Due to high demand, please allow 4 weeks from the date of your order for your piece to be made.

Made to Order

Each piece is cut and sewn individually in our London atelier. The wool is hand-dyed using natural pigments, a process that demands significantly more time and care than synthetic dyeing, before being quilted in our studio, a technique that alone can take up to five hours per piece. From start to finish, each garment can take up to 5 days to complete.

Due to high demand, please allow 4 weeks from the date of your order for your piece to be made.

Care Instructions

This is a delicate piece that requires gentle handling. The best way to freshen it up is with a gentle steam. For stains, spot clean carefully with cold water and a small amount of soap, being mindful of the draped areas. Dry cleaning for delicate garments is also an option, though we recommend avoiding over-cleaning the piece.

As with all wool garments, some pilling may occur over time; this is a characteristic of the fibre, not a flaw. We recommend using a fabric shaver occasionally to keep your piece looking its best.

Made to Measure

If your size is not listed, we offer a made-to-measure option. Pricing varies between 10–20% above the listed price depending on the complexity of the alterations. Please get in touch via our contact page to discuss your requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Clara Pinto is based in London, with deep roots in Argentina where the designer's craft training began. Production is spread across three locations - felting is done in Argentina, manufacturing in Estonia, and all handmade and made-to-order pieces are finished in our London atelier.

  • Wool is at the heart of everything we make. We work with fine breeds of Merino wool sourced in Argentina and Italy, often in their natural undyed state or dyed using natural pigments such as cochineal and avocado. We also use deadstock fabrics and natural silk. Digital printing plays a significant role in our work - many of our fabrics are digitally printed, adding depth, colour and dimension to the surface of the textile.

  • Yes. We welcome bespoke commissions. If you are interested in a custom piece, whether an adaptation of an existing design or something entirely new. Please get in touch at info@clarapinto.com and we will discuss what is possible.

  • You can shop the full collection online at clarapinto.com. We also have select stockists and host occasional pop-up events - follow us on Instagram @laclarapinto or sign up to our newsletter to stay informed about upcoming events and locations.

  • Import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply depending on your country. These are not included in the product price and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.

  • We accept returns on non made-to-order pieces within 14 days of payment. To initiate a return, please contact us at info@clarapinto.com before the 14 day window. Return shipping costs are covered by the customer. Made-to-order and bespoke pieces are not refundable, as each one is individually crafted for you.

  • Our work is rooted in artisanal textile production, and each technique requires its own individual care. Instructions specific to your piece are included on the label. Due to the nature of our materials and handmade felting processes, most pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. If you are ever unsure, please contact us at info@clarapinto.com before attempting to clean a garment.
