Care Instructions
This is a delicate piece that requires gentle handling. The best way to freshen it up is with a gentle steam. When needed, delicate hand wash in cold water with minimal friction. Avoid rubbing directly on the felted flowers, as this may cause the wool to felt further or lose its shape. Do not wring or machine wash. Lay flat to dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
As with all natural wool, some pilling may occur over time: this is a characteristic of the fibre, not a flaw. We recommend using a fabric shaver occasionally to keep your piece looking its best.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Clara Pinto is based in London, with deep roots in Argentina where the designer's craft training began. Production is spread across three locations - felting is done in Argentina, manufacturing in Estonia, and all handmade and made-to-order pieces are finished in our London atelier.

Wool is at the heart of everything we make. We work with fine breeds of Merino wool sourced in Argentina and Italy, often in their natural undyed state or dyed using natural pigments such as cochineal and avocado. We also use deadstock fabrics and natural silk. Digital printing plays a significant role in our work - many of our fabrics are digitally printed, adding depth, colour and dimension to the surface of the textile.

Our work is rooted in artisanal textile production, and each technique requires its own individual care. Instructions specific to your piece are included on the label. Due to the nature of our materials and handmade felting processes, most pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. If you are ever unsure, please contact us at info@clarapinto.com before attempting to clean a garment.
